"App-Elles, the app to help women call for help"
[... 83 feminicides by companion or ex-companion have been committed in France since the beginning of the year. Two years after the Grenelle of violence against women, the results are clear: if devices exist to protect these women, they remain too few known to victims. Focus this Thursday on the App'Elles application. Free, it exists since 2015 but remains too little used...]
'' I activated my bracelet at that time, my brother-in-law arrived and called the police. It’s very effective''
[... It could have ended very badly otherwise. This bracelet really changed everything! Its big advantage is that it is discreet and looks good, it goes unnoticed, unlike a telephone, for example, which can be snatched from your hands... I hope it will be
useful to many other women...] Virginie, 38 years old
''APP-ELLES is a real added value in terms of monitoring victims of domestic violence''
[... France Victime (French NGO) sends us the list of people holding a bracelet. Every month, we contact them to find out if their situation has changed and if a complaint has been filed. We also make sure with them that the spouses respect the legal measures, when there are any. The APP-ELLES bracelet is a real added value in terms of monitoring victims of domestic violence...] Chief Warrant Officer Vincent, Commander of the Houses for Prevention and Family Protection (MPPF)
